The State Best Practices Project

The Foundation of the IADC is engaged in a project designed to examine “best practices” in various state courts.  The goal is to:

1.         identify best practices;

2.         make recommendations regarding best practices; and

3.         promote those best practices.

The project is currently in phase one. To date, IADC members have provided information on best practices in many, but not all states. The current work product can be accessed in Excel here. If your state is not represented, or you want to update or correct information noted in this spreadsheet, please fill out the Best Practices Survey and return it to Mary Beth Kurzak.

Once The Foundation has collected information on all states, it will proceed to the next two phases of the project. We appreciate your assistance!
