The George J. Lavin, Jr. Memorial Scholarship
The George J. Lavin, Jr. Scholarship, funded by the law firm of Lavin, O’Neil, Ricci, Cedrone & DiSipio, honors the firm’s founder, George J. Lavin, Jr. Mr. Lavin served as the Director of the 2001 Trial Academy and as a faculty member of the 1999 Trial Academy. He was an accomplished trial lawyer and the scholarship celebrates his commitment to mentoring aspiring trial lawyers. The scholarship provides tuition and room and board reimbursement, as well as a $250 expense stipend. The scholarship is intended to provide assistance to a candidate employed by a non-profit corporation, non-profit organization or public sector entity.
